It is just me ...

Is it just me, or are weeks getting shorter? I can't believe it's time for YPF already! This week's pr0n is brought to you by BigGeek. You see, she had a contest, and all you had to do was comment, and I won and she sent me her very own handspun yarn! My comment was basically something to the effect of "You're crazy to give away your handspun!" -- so I find it kind of amusing that I got it. At least she knows I appreciate what a nice gift this is. I guess this means you should look forward to some sort of similar contest from me, because I'd hate for the yarn karma to be out of balance.

Look! Look at this beautiful alpaca yarn! (As always, click on any picture to see it bigger)

Look! Look at it some more!

Thanks again, BigGeek!!!

Ok, now that you're good and jealous, check out what else I got this week. You see, Sunday was the Super Bowl sale at Full Thread Ahead. 45% off yarn! And I only went slightly off-list. On list completely was this:

Interlacements Tiny Toes
Interlacements Tiny Toes in Color 210.

On list was one of these:

Interlacements beaded scarf kit 2Interlacements beaded scarf kit 1
They are Interlacements beaded scarf kits (beads, yarn and pattern) in colors 220 (left) and 213 (right).

Yes, only one was on list, but they will make really nice gifts, I swear.

And then I spent a little more time looking around and decided that 2 little balls of Zarina never did anyone any harm:

Zarina
Filatura di Crossi Zarina in color 1724.

And that's all. Is that so wrong?

You showed remarkable restraint. :)

Oh your restraint was so much better than mine!! I was so in awe of how small your yarn haul was. I think I was just envious because my arms were so damn sore by the time I got to the register!

PLEASE HELP ME!!! If you have any website information or and information at all please write me back. Thank you ever so much.

Not wrong at all! Great stash enhancement!

girl, you were so restrained. Good thing I didn't see those kits. I even put down the pumpkin Zarina and got that cashmerino like yarn instead. I actually even had a plan for some of the yarn I bought that day!!!

Beautiful yarn! How could buying yarn be wrong? According to my 96-yr old grandmother, knitting is a wholesome activity. You bought the yarn to knit it, and knitting is wholesome, therefore, purchasing yarn must also be wholesome.
