Olympic Update for K

Ok, so I'm not all crazy, like Cookie. I wouldn't make her bloglines folder for crazy Olympians. Of course, it would be strange to put one's own blog in that folder, I would think.

Anyway, here's my progress so far. I have finished the main body of the first glove, as well as the thumb and a tiny bit of the pinky. Tiny bit.

I'm hoping that all of the Fair Isle will look much neater after blocking. I'm also hoping that this glove will fit D, or this will be sort of a wasted effort. I think that her hands aren't much bigger than mine. If anything, they are slightly longer, but more slender. I have chubby hands. So, I'm making all of the fingers a little longer than I would want for me, but other than that, I think it should fit.

I hope.

I think the glove looks great ... the fair isle part is very even to me!

Ooooh, I really like the colors. I think the green background was the right choice. And I didn't put our blog in the folder. Does that make it more or less strange?

Oh so pretty. Now that I see a larger picture, well larger then your swatch, I really, really like the colors you choose.

The glove is lovely and ever so much more ambitious than my sock. However, I'm just in the learning phase to make sure I'm worthy of the Cherry Tree Hill african grey!
