Since I'm not allowed to start the Fair Isle gloves, of course my fingers were itching to make them. Where was this energy for these gloves for the past 6 months? Well, all of this time, I've been completely allowed to make them. Now, oh now, I must wait.
So, I did what any good knitter would do. I distracted myself. With a pair of Latvian mittens.
This has been really fun so far. I'm trying to decide now if I should do another braid before I move on to the main body. Hmmm ...
Very nice! Latvian mitts are on my list of things to do... someday. Not sure about the extra braid... what's the pattern on the main body look like?
