Katrina close up

Not the best pictures, but here are some close ups of the middle ribbing section on the Katrina. Hopefully this gives an idea of how the center panel works, and what the increases/decreases look like:

I never updated on the Dual Disc Swap to say that I received all my CDs, and they are awesome! I loved participating in it. Everybody's got great music taste.

I don't think I'm allowed to give away many details, but I'm going to be in the winter issue of Knitty. Hurray!

Congratulations! Oh...another knitting magazine so soon? I've barely sorted through the Fall Knitty, Vogue, IK, etc...

I just started the Katrina Rib (bought the pattern at Communknitty in San Jose) and am loving it. This is the first sweater for myself that I've attempted, and I used a gift certificate to buy teal Grace, a 50/50 merino silk for it, accented with Crystal Palace Waikiki in teal, burgundy, copper, and purple carried along at the neck and the hems of sleeves (I'm making them 3/4 length because at almost 60, upper arms are better covered.)

Thanks for a great pattern for an almost beginner and for making it possible to help NOLA (one of my favorite cities, may it recover completely) at the same time.
