The response for the Katrina pattern has been wonderful. I've already gone over my 30 pattern goal. 31 patterns have been sold which raises $915 toward Katrina Relief Aid. I believe I am up-to-date on emailing all the patterns out, but if I have missed you, please let me know. For some reason, my Paypal account does not match up with my Paypal email notifications (I am short one email).
For anyone who doesn't have a lot to give or doesn't have an employer matching program, $5 really can make a difference.
Count me in for a knit along. I just paid for my pattern. You can email or bring to SnB tomorrow (of you are going), whatever is easier for you. Now...to find the yarn! What do you think about Karabella Aurora 8 or Rowan Cashsoft DK?
Posted by: julia at September 3, 2005 2:03 PMKarabella Aurora 8 is gorgeous yarn! I'm going to Commuknity tomorrow to find some yarn. I have a feeling we'll all be knitting Katrina at SnB tomorrow.
Posted by: Jordana at September 3, 2005 2:47 PMMe too, I've already started mine in some red Filatura di Crosa wool yarn.
Posted by: Elspeth at September 4, 2005 10:10 AMI have the yarn for it!
10 balls of Classic Elite Yarns Premiere, 50% cotton 50% tencel, so it is stretchy, DK weight.
Can't believe I have the yarn.
