Not sure if anybody noticed, but I added some links to the left side for free patterns. These are from an old Fleischer's knitting manual that I have. The copyrights are well expired, so I thought it'd be nice to spread the pattern love. I have a ton of old patterns and am going to try uploading one per week. The five that I put up are the only lace ones I could find (minus a few edgings), and they're all from the same edition. Perhaps lace was big that year the way it seems to be popular this year?
I'm also going to try to do book reviews. My book collection keeps growing, and I think it would be a nice reference for myself to see what books I've got and what I think of them. :-) I'm probably going to start by focusing on the more obscure books that I couldn't find reviews of when I was looking.
The destashing went really well, and thanks to everybody who took some of it off my hands! I updated the list, and there are a few things left still. I'll just leave them there until they're sold or used or something.
And in case anybody's looking for lace eye candy, these are my current faves:
The Knitter's Hand
Melanie Ellingson
Michael Kaprelian
Has anybody else noticed that I'm a way more boring blogger than K? We need K back!!!!
Content is king! Way to expand the blog horizons.
Sending healing rays to K's ouchy paws, hoping to see her soon!
