Yikes!!!

There has been a major setback with the Unst stole. The kitty took a swipe at it when I was knitting and managed to knock all the stitches off the needle! The poor stole will remain in the corner of the room until I'm ready to deal with it. I'm sure many stitches have been dropped. I hope I can pick them back up or else I might have to... eek... start over.

Sob.

That happened on Friday. I didn't work on it all weekend. Instead I finished Hudson and will have a picture up soon. I'm going to take a go at the stole later today or tomorrow.

So sorry. I once had a dog who did that. She's buried in the back yard. (JUST KIDDING, but that's what i felt like.)

That is so terrible! Even though I already have 2 cats (and that's enough) I will gladly take yours for the next few months until your stole is done so this doesn't happen again!

Bugger. You can probably work back a couple rows stitch by stitch & catch the runners, but what a pain. Makes me want to try that lifeline concept on my next lace. Usually I don't bother.. but I do have cats!

I am also sitting here with a project that slipped off the needles. What a mess. At midnight I pulled down 3 rows, then tried to put the stitches back on the needle, and then ripped down one more row. I think it worked. If not....

YIKES... the joy of knitting with a kitty. My little one likes to get hew claw into a single stitch and pull it out JUST enough to drive me crazy to the point that I frog it. It's a conspiracy...
