Stolin'

I finally started my stole. I'm using the Lead or Follow lace scarf pattern. I have added 2 blocks of the 12 stitch repeat pattern to make it a bit wider, but patience requires my adding no more than that.

Here's a weird pic, but a pic nonetheless, of my progress thus far. I stretched it out so you could see the pattern, but it's stretched at sort of an odd angle so I could take the pic:

I see many hours of work ahead of me to be able to finish this and the Madli by May 14th. Aigh.

Things I have learned thus far from this pattern:

-Using a circular needle makes putting in a safety line so much easier, because it allows more wiggle room to put the safety line in.

-So that I can read both the RS and WS from right to left, I just turn the chart upside-down on the WS row.

I think that's the big things so far, but I'll keep a list going, because I'm sure I'll learn more.

That stole is going to be incredibly beautiful when finished because it already is amazing!

Rockin'! I know C said there are three different greys for the stoles, but what color are your dresses?
