I was in the process of blogging when Mozilla crashed on me. GAH. I hate when that happens. I guess this will be short then.
I joined the Butterfly Knitalong.
I went to see KnitKnit and some others at Political Textiles yesterday. It was an exhibit featuring textile artworks with political messages. This included knitting. There were some sweaters from Knitters for Kerry. There were also a bunch of people knitting. Someone brought her entire class from the Art Institute, and they sat on the floor knitting squares for the Nike blanket petition led by Microrevolt. Rachel and I knit squares as well while discussing stash management.
The internetto amazes me every day. I like to look at other people's stashes, so that I don't feel like mine is really all that big. Which in comparison it isn't. I don't need an extra room. Heck, I don't even take up an entire closet. And what really amuses me are the people who want stash organization software. Damn. At the rate I'm going, I might want organizational software in a few years, but hopefully I can keep myself under control.
The first 5-gallon water bottle we ordered is almost empty.
