This sock is made from a ball of Trekking XXL Meilenweit. I used Wendy's generic toe up sock pattern. I really like this pattern, and I like the way it looks with the short row shaping rather than with increases on the toe.
The increases on the toe were tried, and here's a pic of that:
Sometime soon, I'll post pics of all the yarn I bought and tell you of my bay area yarn store adventures. Well, really, my Peninsula yarn store adventures. Sorry I haven't been around much recently, we were just in Chicago for ten days. Got together with C and did a bit of a Chicago yarn store run, but I only bought some more sock yarn. I was very good. This is because I am very poor.
