Workout: Yoga for Strength: session 1

Well, obviously I wasn’t inspired into action by the last session. It left me fairly sore for three days or so, and then laziness and other assorted factors have allowed me to procrastinate starting up again.
Went with the first half of Yoga for Strength session 1 today. It just runs through a sequence of four vinyasas, nothing too terribly difficult. This time I tried to avoid straining against my stiffness at all, since I think that’s probably part of the problem I had last time. On a positive note, I didn’t feel any pain in my shoulders. However, I won’t be too encouraged by that until I’ve gone through a more vigorous workout.
Not much else to say… I’ve been disappointed by my lack of commitment in the last month and a half. The only real benefit has been an extra half hour to hour a day for doing other things. However, I don’t really think that’s an accurate assessment, since the overall health benefits of the practice most likely easily make up for that time. Anyway, I guess we’ll again wait and see if I manage to start returning to the practice.
