We're supposed to show yarn every Friday, and I'm thinking singles on my bobbin count as yarn, right? It could be yarn ... it's just ... not quite ... yet. Either way, I hope you enjoy the pics.
This is the Lisa Souza merino/silk in South Pacific. Last time Cookie asked me what I was working on spinning I said I was working on this and she said something like "Haven't you been working on that FOREVER?!?!" Yes, yes I have. Thanks for noticing. I haven't been spinning as much at home lately, mostly over at Margit's place. Not sure why that is, but hopefully I'll get back in the groove soon. I'm almost done with the singles, so plying should be next soon. Now I just have to decide how I'm plying ... I'm thinking 2-ply laceweight-ish could be nice.
For now, I guess I'll just keep looking at the singles:
Singles that beautiful can totally count as Yarn For Friday.
Make sure Cookie gives us a good shot of the socks her chicken was wearing at sock camp. :)
