Drive-By YPF

I'm running late, but managed to take some photos of some Fleece Artist sock yarn I have. I actually also took pics of my Cosmic Dawn colorway that I'm not posting, because I think Katydid Knits sort of wins on that. Check her pics out!

I wish I could tell you what colorway these pictures are of, but you know, they're not labelled ... it is Fleece Artist though!

I promise, soon I'll do a nice compare/contrast of all these sock yarns I have. Of course, I'll have to talk to Cookie about the durability of this one -- haven't knit this stuff yet either!

A compare would be great - line them all up and spill the knowledge! :) there are so many out there now it's hard to keep track! that color is amazing - does yours have the darker colors as well?

oooh, beautiful! It reminds me of sherbert ice cream!

Very nice, whatever color it is. I'm looking forward to the compare/contrast of sock yarns!

Ah!! I think everyone posting Fleece Artist is a conspiracy to get me to buy some!! Their colorways are amazing!

That is a great color -- it makes me look forward to berry season. It will be interesting to see how that bit of umbery-gold runs through it when knit.

Love that red! Looking forward also to the comparison!

I love that colour combination - hot pink and orange are just the colour of summer sunsets!

The colours are GREAT. (As is the yarn.)

I LOVED knitting with Fleece Artist. I can't comment on durability tho'--I wore them once and my cat stole one of my socks. I still can't find it.

Can you guys tell me if the Monkey pattern can be worked toe up without a problem? Thanks!

Gorgeous yarn. I love Fleece Artist stuff. I have some of the new Sea Wool on order and am very excited.

I have only worked Mokey toe-up and it worked great for me. Can't seem to make myself do and cuff-downs these days.

Gorgeous yarn. I think that color is Sangria. I love FA yarn, and I have found that it holds up very well. I haven't had it felt, but it does get thicker when washed repeatedly in the machine (but stays stretchy). I knit it on size 2 needles at about 6.5 spi for a good sock fabric that washes well.

Looking forward to seeing what you knit with this!

I'll have to pass the compliments on to my hubby, as he's the photographer. :D

That's a gorgeous shade, though - that deep pink is beautiful!
