I'm a little worried that my absolute love of my Rooster Rock Sheep 2 Shoe yarn which has somehow morphed into a love of the Sheep 2 Shoe kit in general is going to start looking a tad ... well, crazy.
Oh well. Pretend it's understandable when you look at these:
Progress on the Sheep 2 Shoe kit for Cookie (It's in the Lucy colorway, by the way, which just happens to match our blog colors pretty well):
Ok, and I don't think I admitted to this purchase before:
Sheep 2 Shoe kit in Carbon from Purlescence Yarns.
Understandable. Oh, so understandable.
Also, beautiful. Way to go!
Posted by: G. Knerd at January 3, 2007 4:06 PMI so get it. I love how the colors are flowing one to another. Really awesome!
Posted by: Karen at January 3, 2007 4:39 PMGorgeous! God I wish I was spinning again. My woolee winder is still in time out though.
By the way - guess where I'm going in February? If you guess Palo Alto and the San Jose area you guessed correctly. Do you know anybody I might want to visit while I'm out there? Huh? Anybody? Also - where are good places to visit - seriously - in a tourist capacity? Thanks!
Posted by: Cara at January 3, 2007 4:50 PMOh my. Those are beautiful. There's nothing wrong with loving the Sheep to Shoe if it's that amazing. :)
Posted by: Tasha at January 3, 2007 5:12 PMThe Rooster Rock is magnificent! Nothing wrong with being head over heels with that stuff! I love the Lucy colourway too.
Posted by: Opal at January 3, 2007 5:46 PMThat is FINE! (as in just impeccably good)
Who cares what other people think. It's your damn hobby! ;-)
Posted by: LaurieM at January 4, 2007 4:38 AMOh man, I want to roll around in that stuff. I still haven't started mine yet. I'm enjoying the anticipation too much.
Posted by: kristin at January 4, 2007 7:57 AMI think I need to come all the way to CA for one of those. I've been practically salivating over them. Okay, so I can't spin...yet. But I will! I taught myself to knit because I wanted a specific hat, I can learn to spin just for this kit. :D
Posted by: shadkitty at January 4, 2007 7:58 AMwow wow wow - I would hardly believe it was possible for it to look even better knit up than it did on the bobbin!!!!!! That Lucy colorway is going to be AMAZING!
