Merry Christmas to Cookie ...

I'm not Santa, but I've decided that Cookie has been nice this year, so I've been working on a super-secret-super-special project for her for Christmas. There were some delays, so the project isn't as far along as I had hoped. Instead of receiving her actual item, Cookie is getting pictures of the progress.

So let's take a look at what the ladies at Purlescence Yarns and Tina from Blue Moon Fiber Arts helped me get for Cookie for Christmas:

Sheep 2 Shoe Kit in Lucy
Cookie seemed to really like the whole Sheep 2 Shoe experience I was having from start to finish, so I asked Nathania at Purlescence if there was any way we could get one in "Cookie colors". I mentioned that our blog was a good view of "Cookie colors", and she talked to Tina, and this is what Tina sent ... a whole pound of fiber for me to spin sock weight for Cookie!

I can't wait to be able to give Cookie the finished product. Merry Christmas, Cookie!

Oh man she is going to love it! Although I'll be intrigued to see what socks will come out of ONE POUND of spun fiber!!

This is fantastic! You and Nathania were pretty slick that night getting it out of Purlescence and into your car...while you were carpooling with Cookie!!!

Oh, if she hasn't already, she's going to flip! That's quite the present...and she should get more than a single pair of socks out of a pound of yarn...(you must really like her!)

That's so sweet of you to make her her own sock yarn!! I love the colors, they DO match the blog! :)
