Socktoberfest interview, socks unveiled!

My Socktoberfest interview with Lolly is up! The unveiling of another knee-high cabled sock is in the interview. Check out Lolly's interview. I hope to have both sock patterns available in... I don't know, don't hold your breath. Sometime in November?

And to do the flip side of the interview process, Kristi and I are on the Arctic Lace blog tour! We gathered a bunch of tough questions from the Lacy Knitter Guild. Here is the schedule:

24-Oct Designer's Note
25 Oct The Independent Stitch
26-Oct Make 1 Yarn Studio
27-Oct The Hook and I
28-Oct CraftZine blog
29-Oct Carol's Experiments in Textiles
30-Oct Yarn Spinner
31-Oct Fearless Knitting 101
1-Nov PhysicsKnits
2-Nov Fruitful
3-Nov Knit2Fit
4-Nov Big Sky Knitting Designs
5-Nov Mind of Winter
6-Nov Stranded in Staten Island
7-Nov Go Knit in Your Hat
8-Nov Knittin' Mom
9-Nov Modeknit / Knitting Heretic
10-Nov Knitters Anonymous
11-Nov Fiber Femmes
12-Nov Keep Talking
13-Nov Tales of a Keyboard Biologist

In other random news, Kristi and I went over to Purlescence a couple times over the weekend (yeah, I think we're averaging about 2.5 visits per week) and heckled some people into buying yarn. Outside, we saw a car with the license plate LACEMKR. So of course, as soon as we got in the store I asked "Ok, who's got the license plate LACEMKR?" thinking it would be Nathania, Chloe or Sandy. Not so! It belonged to Laurie, the membership chair of the IOLI, who apparently had moved to Sunnyvale recently. I thought that was fun.

I will be doing a lot of travelling. First up in mid-November will be Toronto, the City of Knitterly Pleasure and Sin. Can NOT wait! I'm intentionally flying there a couple days before the DH, so I can make it to Wednesday Knit Night at Lettuce Knit. Woohoo!

It was a great pleasure, Cookie. Thanks for the interview and the wonderful tutorial!

Wow, what a blog tour! Looks like fun :)

So, that means you won't be in CA when I am there... but you will be living it up in Toronto! Sounds like fun!

Oh, Toronto! I'm so jealous! They must put something really fabulous in the water in that city - so many of my heroes come from there. So enjoy Lettuce Knit to the fullest, and tell us all about it so we can live vicariously through you!!

You did heckle me into it. Hrmph. I'll forgive you once my lovely tube socks are knit up, though not as tubes, I suspect.

I love how you're planning your travel around knitting groups. So glad I'm not the only one. Bring back some fantastic Canadian yarn to tempt BobaKnit with!

Wow, I would never have known about this whole online book tour - thanks so much. Gonna try to catch as much of every stop as possible. Oooh, Toronto! Have a fun time! Hmm, seeing a hockey game? Have you heard of the Bata Shoe Museum - pretty interesting museum.

Nice interview! And I like the new knee-high. It looks very warm.

You are, of course, a queen of socks. Lovely. My sock knitting efforts haven't really paid off, so far, but knitters like you remind me not to abandon my efforts yet. Oh, and I saw a "YARN" license plate in Santa Cruz recently. I stopped driving in the middle of a parking lot to fish out my camera and take a picture.

Yay! Hope to see you at the LK SnB!

Love the socks, both pair. The interview was great and very informative (it's always nice to know where peoples' fake legs come from.)
You are on a natural/white yarn kick these days lady!

Congratulations on a fabulous interview with Lolly! I know it was a week ago. But, I've been a little behind on my blog reading lately. It's been too busy in my little life.
Have a great time knitting at Lettuce Knit!! I'm jealous!
