Perhaps you recognize the pattern? Yes, pomatomus! I decided to make a pair ... and with the yarn that Cookie dyed a few weeks ago, no less. I'm a lucky girl ... I get to make the socks with yarn dyed by the pattern-writer herself. Woot!
And here they are now ...
Let's not speak of the fact that I made a mistake by not reading the directions (how embarrassing), and have to tink back a bit. It is a nice fun pattern to knit though! Can't wait to have my own finished pair of pomatomi!

For some reason I keep saying "potamus" (as in hipp-) in my head instead of "pomatomus." I don't think I should knit them until I can remember the name. ;)

I'm in the middle of my own happy little pair of pomatomi. The second one is OTN. It's my second pair - I made a pair last winter for a friends BD.
That yarn looks so neat in the pomatomus pattern!
LOL! Now Nora's Got the potawotomee song stuck in my head!
