The spring issue of Knitty is up, and I've got a sock pattern in there!
-------------------EDIT: ERROR IN PATTERN!!!!!-------------------
Jen G emailed with an error she found already. I'm redfaced over it, but here it is for anyone wanting to knit the socks. I've emailed the Knitty folks.
Round 3 should be: [K1 tbl, p2, k1, yo, sl1, k2tog, psso, yo, k1, p2] around.
I apologize profusely and thank Jen G for pointing it out.

About the photos. That's my current back yard, but I'll be moving to a much uglier place on Thursday. I bought those shoes for weddingnumbertwo, but they weren't as comfy as all the reviews suggested. I had fears of tripping and falling on my face, so I went with these instead. Who needs height when you can have comfort?
i just wanted to say congratulations on getting your pattern published... and i LOVE your hair in the picture taken with your bio on knitty... it is gorgeous...
so thats pretty much it. thought i would say hey and keep up the great work!
Just saw your pattern in knitty. For what it's worth, out of the patterns in this new issue, your socks are the one thing I'm considering making. :) Love them!
Posted by: Lucy at April 9, 2006 11:24 PMThese are amazing socks! Specially 'cause I have daughter with the same name! Most probably will knit a pair for her!
Posted by: Sandra at April 10, 2006 12:15 AMCookie, those socks are wonderful; but perhaps not surprising - they have your style! You must have been in love to wear those shoes (height and laces?); I wouldn't have made one step in those babies - I do like your alternative option! Congrats I will be making those socks real soon.
Posted by: Cynthia at April 10, 2006 7:34 AMI just saw your socks in the new Knitty and they are so beautiful! I wish I had sock yarn and needles with me because I would start on them right now! You are really talented!

I've added Hedera to my list of to dos! Congrats on another fantastic design. How's that thing for the Rockin' Sock Club going?
Posted by: Nathania at April 10, 2006 7:42 AMThank you for another wonderful sock pattern. These are definitely on my to-knit-list.
Love the backyard--that pond is amazing! Are there Koi? Sorry you have to leave. suck-o.
Posted by: Janice at April 10, 2006 7:45 AMI'm not a sock knitter, but I think I'm going to give Hedra a go! These are the best pattern of the Spring Knitty.
Posted by: Gina at April 10, 2006 7:46 AMI love the new sock pattern. But as much as I think the pattern is cool, the pictures make them absolutely fabulous!
Posted by: Jody at April 10, 2006 8:31 AMCongrats- I love the pattern and the photos!

Posted by: Crystal at April 10, 2006 11:10 AMYeah, a pattern (again!) in Knitty - and waiting! for the surprise for Blue Moon Fiber Arts/STR!
Posted by: Terry at April 10, 2006 11:10 AMGreat pattern =) I'm planning on making the socks really soon. Thanks!
Posted by: Tiffany at April 10, 2006 1:21 PMCongratulations, m'dear. Didn't I say it was like the gynecologist?
Personally, I went with the dangerously high heels for both weddings, but then I'm little.
At least the error was caught very early! I love the pattern by the way. Great job.
Posted by: Rebekah at April 10, 2006 2:00 PMI love your pattern-- I'm going to knit it instead of the IK simply lovely lace socks (yours are lovelier.) And the leg!! I saw it at Stitches and whispered to the person next to me, "that's the leg!"
Hightailed it out of the Shelridge farms booth kinda fast after that.
Posted by: Aija at April 10, 2006 2:07 PMstarted your hedera today and while away from comp, i figured out there was a mistake *and* what the solution was. i was very proud of myself. came home, reloaded knitty page and saw it had been taken care of already... well done.
started this sock so soon because i was really fond of pomatomus and have high expectations now! thanks dear. keep going, please... ;)
