Um, hi

I haven't blogged in over a week, but that's the beauty of having two bloggers on one blog. That way, when I'm going through a "phase", Kristi can take over. My "phase" right now is knitting some stuff for pattern submissions, so I can't really post about them. One of them is giving me a lot of grief, and I might just give up on it and post about my grief. Also, my family has been visiting for almost a week. It was great to see them, but I'm a little wiped out. I talked to my sister-in-law about my brother. I guess obsession runs in our family. He's at least as obsessed with motor sports as I am with knitting. He owns as many racing shoes as I own boots, and each one has a different purpose: casual racing, street racing, flame retardant, heel-toe, etc. It's like me and all the different knitting projects I have going on.

Speaking of shoes, I got these while shopping with the SIL. I got them for $6. Expect to see one of these, a hand knit sock (just one, of course), and a mannequin leg sometime in the future.

In other news, I've joined the Sock Yarn Addicts Club. I started taking pictures of my stash for Flash Your Stash 2006 and realized just how utterly absurd my stash is. Hence the need to join the SYAC. Here is a preview for my Flash Your Stash:

I also ran across this cool test on yukino's blog. I know it's crazy, but I read a few non-knitting blogs! Well, we went to high school and have eaten the sacred Beeves together, bonding us forever. And Selva Morales is an awesome photographer. According to the Personal DNA personality test, I am an:

I think that's interesting considering I'm not very extroverted. If you want to analyze me yourself, you can using my receipt which is 7e45ca3574f6.

Interesting test! I like the idea of sliders.
Your new shoes are very funky! I seldom wear that high heels!

$6? Good job. They're awesome, and I'm sure the requisite sock and mannequin leg will be awesome too.

I'm an animated builder. Thanks for the fun link. I'm afraid to flash my stash. It might be too hard to face the truth.

You can't tell us about what your working on for design submission? Or for whom? I'm becoming alarmed that there's some good reason to keep mum and wondering if I ought not to be broadcasting all the submissions I'm working on...
