Closing Ceremonies

Some Bay Area knitters got together last night at Nathania's new digs to celebrate the closing ceremonies, and we had a blast!

Some pictures to prove it:

jeniolympics

Jeni finished all of her knitting and finishing early on in the evening. Here's her daughter Brianna wearing her new jacket from Rowan Junior. Isn't it lovely? As you can see, the Olympics are on the TV, so you know that she finished with time to spare!

I stole this pic from Sheetal. The knitters from left to right: back row: Kathy, Cookie, Mary, Brianna, Jeni, Kay, Sheetal On couch: me, Emy, Nathania, Chloe. Front row: Sandy

If you go to those other blogs, there are more pics. I adore all of the projects, so you should really check out Emy's Ab Fab Afghan, Sheetal's self-designed sweater, Nathania's shawl, Mary's sweater, Jeni's coat (Brianna's now!), and Chloe's beautiful sweater.

And finally:

bud

Looks like Bud didn't quite finish his Olympic knitting, he stopped for a nap.

Thanks to Nathania and Kevin for being such great hosts!

That look slike a blast. Poor Bud, didn't finish his knitting, but that's okay, what he didn't finish he makes up in cuteness.
