Woo-hoo!

[edited to add project specs below]

They're done! All of the ends are woven in, and they're even blocked.

Now, like any good athlete who wins a gold medal, I bet ... I just really want to take a shower.

Edit:
The glove pattern and Fair Isle charts are in Carol Rasmussen Noble's Fair Isle Mittens and Gloves book. I changed up the colors and added fingers (they were fingerless in the book), but otherwise, the pattern is done as written.

The yarn I used is a mix of Paton's Kroy and Regia sock yarn. The Paton's Kroy is the off-white and grayish-brown color, and the rest are Regia.

Comments

Woot woot woot! The blocking job looks awesome. I hope D fondles them and sleeps with them on her hands to show them the love they deserve.

It was nice to see you both with your Olympic FO's last night. The colorwork and the lace are amazing! Well done.

I love how much these gloves matured from your first swatching/knitting attempts to a gorgeous, subtle, finished Olympian effort. Big congratulations to you for finishing a challenging project.
