Winter Knitty is up

And I'm in it!

I also just got back from a weekend in Winnipeg and 4 hours in Chicago. I snowshoed, saw bison roaming (actually more like huddling from the cold), played with the cutest little kitty, wore snowpants and toasty handknit socks, and froze my face. Chicago seemed like a warm paradise after The Peg. Brrrrr. I managed to finish TWO non-matching socks on my trip. In fact, I ran out of yarn to knit and was forced to watch a horrible movie on the plane ride back. Something about Canada must boost my knitting speed.

WOW I love the socks! just popped onto Knitty.com and definitely will put this on the "to do" list......the yarn is perfecto, too!

I love it all -- the pattern, the photo, the dress, the hair. It's all perfection. I happen to dig the leg as well.

Those socks are awesome! I must try them. Now where can I find one of those legs to model them on? :)

Your socks are really nice (though the disembodied leg is rather disturbing). The patterning that you used looks like it will be an excellent and interesting knit. Your pattern is perfect to take along for my holiday trip knitting as I will hopefull have finished all my knitted gifts, ahem. I have some mountain colors bearfoot that I think they will look lovely in.

Cheers!

I love the Knitty socks! When the current pair is off the needles, I'll have to cast on for those.

I loved the pics, too. Very nice.

I hope we get to see pictures of you snowshoeing. Somehow that seems like it should not be missed. ;)

Congratulations! Loved the pattern, but most of all the photograph holding the leg, too funny.

Cookie - the socks are beautiful, but I think I love your outfit even more. The corset - the skirt - just gorgeous! BTW, I recently finished your Katrina rib pattern and I love how it turned out. Thanks for a great design. Cheers, Elizabeth
