Blueberry Socks! Done! A week ago!

Yes, I have been a very bad blogger. I have been busy with my new job and just getting settled in to the whole real job thing in general. Also, the new job requires a lot of computer time, so I'm not always excited about spending more time on the computer when I get home.

With my wrist finally working its way back up to being in shape, things are good, but all the typing doesn't really help that either.

At any rate, I finished this pair of socks that I SWEAR I started in January or something. How pathetic. It's the Conwy pattern from Nancy Bush's Knitting on the Road. I like the pattern, though it's a bit hard to see in this yarn. The yarn is Cherry Tree Hill Supersock, in color Blueberry Hill. Not normally a color combo I would just love, but with socks anything goes for me.

For those of you who have purchased Cookie's Katrina Rib pattern in the past few days, if you haven't heard anything, she apologizes but is having trouble with her email from the far-off land she is in for her honeymoon. So, please comment if you haven't received your pattern and I will send one out to you ASAP.

Thanks for understanding.

Next post I hope to have some close-ups of my Katrina Rib in progress to help people with the whole traveling rib section if they're just starting. If you have any questions about the pattern, please let us know in the comments.

Yay for finished socks!

I think I might have to take you up on your offer to finish the death socks for me. :(

I just love a good pair of finished socks. Abner does too, in fact he'd like to eat your socks for you, should you desire them to be eaten. :-)

And I'll forgive you for not blogging, but Basil won't, he's a stickler.

I'm working on Katrina Rib and wanted to know what increases are best for this pattern - I'm having a bit of trouble with them. Thanks!
