Blueberry rib

So I started this project which I'm calling the Blueberry Rib while in Chicago. I've been *almost* done for a long time now, but every time I try it on, I seem to think I need a few more inches. Well, according to this picture, a few more inches will do. Right?

The stats: Blueberry Rib is a short-sleeved yoked sweater worked top-down in the round with a travelling rib down the front center. I'm using Jaeger Extra Fine Merino DK in Blueberry on size 6 needles. The pattern is inspired by Adrienne Vittadini's Swirling Ribs.

After consulting with the San Jose SnB yesterday (including a copyright attorney), I was advised that the Blueberry Rib and Delph patterns are my own designs and that I should be able to publish them. Yay! Now I just have to finish both of them...

Oh, that is pretty damn kickass! I even like it in the blue!

That's great that you could copyright them! I would definitely buy those, especially the Blueberry rib. Let me know if you need a test knitter for a larger size. :)

I can get a much better image of what it looks like now. I think yes, a few more inches.

Awesome job! I have yet to make a top down top. Does it try to slip off your shoulders much?

I LOVE the blueberry rib. It has gorgeous sensuous lines. If you need test knitters, I would like to get in line behind Jody!

Very, very cute. If I had the body I'd buy that pattern in a minute, maybe I'll have that body next summer.

Blueberry Rib is looking very lovely. A few more inches, and you'll be there!
