Hello from Chitown

I've been trying to delude myself into thinking that I won't buy much at Stitches. But I've had some realizations of the impossibility of this. If Webs offers their 25% discount deal on everything and they have a bunch of Jo Sharp DK wool, I am screwed. SCREWED. That would be <$20 per bag!!!! I do not have the ability to resist that sort of temptation. Also, Shelridge Farm is supposed to be there. I'm in trouble. I can feel it. I'm heading over on Saturday, and I'm trying to keep the following in mind:

  1. Any money not spent on yarn can be spent on clothing. New clothes would be nice.
  2. There is a large shipment of yarn waiting for me at home. (Webs reshipped the stolen order.)
  3. Wouldn't I rather have some Pakucho Organic Cotton from Elann?
  4. ARE YOU CRAZY? YOU HAVE ENOUGH YARN, YOU FREAK!
Comments

Exactly how much yarn is enough yarn? Just askin'. I always think I have it, until I see the next thing. You know.

For a second you had me freaked--StitchesWest? This Saturday??? Oh, yeah, that's right, you're not here--hence the title of your post. Inhale. Exhale.

Wouldn't you rather buy some gorgeous Alchemy Silk Purse for me? Any colorway will do, really. ;)

Not buy yarn at Stitches? Are you sure you're feeling ok? LOL. If you are able to say no, you're a stronger, better person than me ;}.

1. Clothes are a basic necessity, so you'll have to buy them no matter how much you spend on yarn. So money spent on yarn shouldn't even come into play here.
2. What if the second order gets stolen again?
3. Wouldn't you ALSO like to have Pakucho.
4. ARE YOU CRAZY? THIS IS STITCHES!!

I'm sorry I won't see you there this year. I could only go on Friday and possibly Sunday morning. Webs did offer the Jo Sharp yarn at $28/bag but no discount. It was going fast today though!
