Sewing Project

Today was totally a red letter day. When I woke up, I could straighten my arm completely and bend it completely and bend my wrist in the one way that I really couldn't before the cortisone. Woot!

So, I went to knitting and actually got to knit! The ladies had lots of fun projects to show me ... I should start thinking about taking pics of sunday meetings to share if the ladies (and the gentleman, when he can come!) don't mind having pics shown.

So then I stopped knitting and came home and did a sewing project that I found on Craftster. It's the Jordy Bag, and I couldn't stop thinking about it yesterday! So today I made it.

Here are the pics:

So yeah. It fits a notebook perfectly. I really like it even though I purposely made it out of fabric I wasn't that excited about (in case I screwed up). Now I want to make more bags ... more!

Tomorrow: The Japanese knitting book that I bought today.

Wow, that's a really gorgeous bag. You made that in one day?

Great bag and it was nice to see you today. Thanks (again) for the help with the sock heel - I'm on the straightaway now...

Your bag looks great. It's times like there when I wish I had a sewing machine and what not.

Yeah cortisone! Glad your arm is happier and the knitting is good.

Yeah! I'm glad the cortisone is working for you. Cute bag - can't wait to see how the bag looks in fabric you really like!
