FO!

I finished the Kochoran cardi, but I don't have a picture because I gave it to my mom to wear. She thinks it's freezing here at night. It looks really good on her. She's tinier than me, and the drape is nice. (The fam keeps telling me I'm fat because I eat cookies too much. To which I say: WHATEVER.) I haven't added a closure yet, but after consultation with K, I think I'm going to get 4 buttons and place them: 1 at the bottom, 1 between the ribbing and the stockinette, and the other 2 evenly placed above that. I'm going to make crocheted button loops at the edges.

Hopefully I can get pictures of my mom modeling the sweater tomorrow or Sunday, but I won't have the buttons done yet, since I don't have any. Perhaps a trip to the button store downtown Chicago is in order? Do you think more toggle like buttons, or tiny buttons, or...?

Lucky mom! Are you tempted to give it to her?

Button placement sounds good. My gut says bigger rather than tiny buttons.

I think bigger buttons too, but I don't know about long, narrow toggle-type. I'm not sure the style will match the very elegant sweater. Maybe toggle-type but glass or something, not wood? Meh, I don't know. Don't listen to me!

Fat? You're kidding right? Not even! Looking forward to seeing a photo.
