Excruciatingly slow knitting

So now I've got three knitting projects going on. The London Pride is going very very slowly. I haven't made enough progress to be picture-worthy. I did bring it to the Tuesday night knitting group (my first knitting group in weeks!), but I forgot to bring the pattern with me!!! That sucked. Luckily, Hollis from Full Thread Ahead had some extra knitting with her for the Relay For Cancer team, so I got to work on a chemo cap instead. I also got recruited for the 3am slot for the relay team. I might have to try to walk and knit to stay awake!

The other two projects I'm knitting are secret, but I can show you some of the pain that is involved with one of them:

That's some ripped out kid mohair. Let me just say that making a really bad mistake 20 rows back is NOT FUN to fix. I still haven't gotten back to the actual mistake. The one good thing is that the stitches 21 rows back were fairly easy to pick up because it's not like they were going to run undone. Sigh. Does anybody have suggestions for ripping out mohair?

i think if you put it in the freezer for a little while it's supposed to be easier to work with...

Where is the Tuesday night group? Too many groups!

Aaack! I hate ripping back mohair. I have to do the same on a project I'm working on and I'm not looking forward to it. Best of luck!

My method of ripping mohair is to not do it at all. Haha! Seriously. I dropped a stitched on my mom's shawl and I was all, "screw that. it's not going anywhere."
