So K has tendonitis and won't be knitting for a while. It sucks! Much more for her than for me, no doubt. But it sucks for me too! Because I'll start up excitedly about knitting things, and those conversations always end with the fact that she can't knit and how much it sucks. SUCKS!!! I can only imagine.
So I haven't knit for an entire week. Partially because of that, and partially because "spring" cleaning has finally taken control of me. And I had some absurdly late work nights and am totally sleep deprived.
In fact, I had a BAD KNITTING DREAM. That's right. I took a nap this afternoon which ended up being so very long. It ended up with a dream involving me being BACK IN SCHOOL (AGH!) and taking a horrifying art class that involved knitting the most hideous cabled bobbled thing you can imagine. And the professor happened to live in the basement of a house I was living in. When I went to get my knitting assignment, I found out to my horror that it was only halfway done, and that I'd have to pull a knitting all-nighter to finish the hideous beast. I was traumatized. When I finally did wake up, my first thought was Thank goodness I don't have to knit that hideous thing!
So now I think I'm going to have to pick up one of my knitting projects to get the horrible feeling of forced-ugly-knitting out of my system.
Wow, bad knitting dreams! That has to be a sign of something. What, I'm not sure. ;)
