Good sock!

The Fleece Artist Merino sock yarn was calling to me, so I had to start knitting it. The picture doesn't do it justice, but I think this will turn into a very lovely pair of socks. I am knitting the Go With The Flow sock pattern from the summer issue of Interweave Knits. It's simple and textured. I didn't realize it was a yarnover pattern until I looked at the chart, but it is. I figure once I get to the toe with this sock, I will finish the toe for the neglected socks.

Okay, so more about this Fleece Artist Merino. I am absolutely in love with it. In fact, there is a Yarn Co-op [EDIT: Fixed link!] that is placing an order with Fleece Artist and distributing the yarns to members for 50% off retail price, and I think everybody should order some! I would say it is very similar to Koigu and Cherry Tree Hill sock yarns, but I like the colors more on average. Don't get me wrong. I still think the best of the KPPPM colors are better, but on average Fleece Artist has great colors. There isn't a single one I don't like. I guess that's a personal preference though.

Also, for those of you wondering about the stole, it is done and blocked! I stayed up very late Saturday night knitting the second border, grafting it together and blocking it. Yay! Less than two weeks to the wedding. I'll try to get a picture of it up beforehand, but don't count on that. We leave on Tuesday, and I'm sure to be busy beforehand!
