I found my thrill ...

I am slowly but surely working on my socks from Cherry Tree Hill Merino. The color is Blueberry Hill. It's sort of odd that I like these colors, as I don't like blue or purple all that much, but somehow, for socks, colors get to be all kinds of fun.

The pattern is from Nancy Bush's Knitting on the Road. One may recall that I gave this to C for Christmas and have myself made 3 socks out of it so far. Hm. They have a cute little "twined cable" pattern that didn't come out as much more than texture in this pic. Actually, it doesn't look like much more than texture in real life either.

Next up, I'll show a pic of another pair of socks I'm working on.

What else has been going on in k's knitworld?

-With C back in town, I have been going to SnBs even less. Oops.

-We went to Stitches West, and thanks to a job I did for Spinnity, I actually had somewhat of a budget.

-I have started swatching the hemp kit I got from the Hemp for Knitting booth -- It will look like this someday. Mine is in chocolate brown.

-I have taken to the C pattern of only doing one sock at a time. I need to work on this

-The stole. The stole! It's getting longer, slowly but surely. Pics to come.
