That big bad baby is done!

During my department knitting lunch meeting on Friday I finally finished the Big Bad Baby Blanket (from Stitch 'n Bitch). I love the finished product, but was starting to get really really tired of knitting it, especially when I still have lots more knitting to do before Christmas! Here's a picture of the FO (the full blanket pic is the closest to the true color).

And a close up of the center where the stockinette meets reverse stockinette:

And a shot of the seed stitch border:

The blanket is for our upcoming niece/nephew. It's so soft and warm, I hope it's a hit!

Now knitting: Pink felted purse for my sister-in-law.

Good for you! I have totally stalled on the baby blanket i was making. Actually, it's been relegated to a dog blanket now, but it's still not done!

I made a similar baby blanket. I put ribbon bows on each corner. It is the softest, prettiest blanket. I have made it with 2 strands of yarn, on number 15 needles. It knits up quickly and come out so, so soft.

Hey! I'm working on the big bad baby blanket for my second "real" project... I've ripped it apart eleven times now... I don't know what the deal is! Is the pattern correct? Because I just don't know how a seed stitch is supposed to appear out of:
row 1: k1, p1, repeat to end
row 2: p1, k1, repeat to end
If you END with a purl and START with a purl... its just not working!!! =~( I've been searching for help on it, and I am totally at your mercy!!!
