I decided that I would make my dad a pair of green socks for Christmas with the Wildfoote I got a few weeks ago in Santa Cruz. My dad used to always joke that all he wanted for Christmas was socks, so that's where this came from. Here's the start of the first sock:
This is Wildfoote in Pine Tree at the toe and Jungle for the foot. It's on my addi turbo US size 2.
They look a little big, but I decided that too big was better than too small, plus they are actually the same width as my store-bought socks, though they are larger than my hand-knit socks for myself. I think it will be fine.
I better decide soon if I'm making more Christmas presents!
EDIT: This is it. Since it's a new project, it'll be my Green-Along project (see sidebar). Yay!
