thinking pink!

So I've decided to help out this project over at My Threaded Bliss. I have finished just 4 ribbons so far, but with all of the pink yarn I have, there's sure to be many more soon! I have also gotten a few more people interested, I think. I went to my first Santa Clara County knitting meetup today and had a great time meeting all of the ladies, and they were all very supportive of this project! One woman was even working on the pink ribbon socks, which were looking absolutely lovely.

Anyway, so here's my pink ribbons so far. I think I'll keep some for myself to give to friends and maybe sell some and send the money instead of all of the ribbons.

I am working on this project also as part of the Think Pink Along, which I think is a great idea, so please check it out.

Also in knitting news is my doily progress. I'm up to row forty-something, which is exciting. It's getting much easier, and I'm loving how it's looking. It's now about 5 inches in diameter:

As you can see on our sidebar, I've joined the Butterfly Along. I have decided to knit it with my Lana d'Oro in Lichen rather than with the Noro. I'm excited, but haven't had a chance to swatch yet. I'm looking forward to a weekend in Tahoe ... hopefully lots of knitting time!

I think that's all of my knitting news for today ... goodnight!

The doily is looking pretty. I've been thinking of doing some lace knitting, since I've got some lace weight yarn sitting in my stash... Maybe a scarf one of these days... Are you learning lots of stuff?
