I should start off by saying I got an e-card from my secret pal. Yay! I also sent my secret pal something. I hope she likes it.
Second, I'm almost done with the Wavy Ribbon Tank. The left side needs to be seamed, and I have to weave in the ends. Here it is.
These are the yarns I bought while under K's influence.
First Picture clockwise from upper left: Lorna's Laces in grey and yellow from The Knitting Room in San Jose (?), Gedifra Dandy from the Urban Knitting Studio in SF, Tahki Shannon from Custom Handweavers in Mountain View.
Second Picture: One ball of laceweight mohair in grey and another in fuschia from the Rug and Yarn Hut in Campbell, and one hank of black lace weight merino from Imagiknits in SF.
Also, while I was visiting K, we spent so much time fiber festing that I didn't actually get to knit much. We each finished a Meathead, and I made another hat using some Gedifra Dandy I bought in SF. This is going to be a thank you present for our housesitter, if I ever see him again...
Oh! And I started my first pair of socks using yarn from the wading pool at the Rug and Yarn Hut.
I'll be going to New York on Saturday. I would love to stop by Habu, but my vacation buddies are probably not so keen on yarn shopping. We'll see...
