I've knit the hood and cut the steek for it. Row now the sweater is wet from washing, so the yarn will loft, and I can feel its alpaca softness and motivate myself to finish. It is so very nice and soft after washing. Too bad it's harsh to knit off the cone! Left to do is seaming the hood together, knitting the facing for the hood, and of course the sleeves. Depending on how quickly it dries, maybe I can have this done in time for Tuesday's stitch n bitch!
I love alpaca, too. I'll have a ton of leftover mohair soon and I was trying to decide what to mix with it to make something else. I think alpaca would be a good choice.
