I'm actually up to the increases on the front of the little [yellow] top, but here's a nice little pic of the back:
For those of you who haven't seen this pattern from stitch 'n' bitch, the front goes straight up (no opening at the neck), and has 11 garter stitches in the middle for decorative purposes.
I should put up some pics from my bag project at some point.
In other news, c gave me a copy of simple knits with a twist, which is a nice book, in my opinion. I really like the ideas for using different (and sometimes economical) materials, besides just yarn.
I also received the orange felted purse that c made and some yellow yarn that she dyed. Woot! Thanks, C!
Yeah, I've been holding back on the blog regarding books because I didn't want to leak the surprise.
The yellow looks good! I want the next yarn I knit with to be soft like cotton fleece (or even better, your Lana D'oro). This coned yarn can be rough on the hands.
