update before my trip

I'm leaving to go hang out in the wilderness for a couple of days, and just got back from a day and a half in the wilderness. In between trips, I must update the blog! I don't have any pictures to share, because I'm tired and lazy. But I can still briefly update on my progress.

Due to some terrible traffic out of the bay area on Saturday, the second sock is almost done. I am about two inches into the 3x3 ribbing for the leg. I was very surprised that I was able to finish the heel on the car ride up -- I never thought that I would be that far along.

I'm not sure what to bring with me on my next trip. I'll finish my sock while I'm there for sure, and maybe the never-ending dog blanket, but I think I should have another project with me too. Perhaps the "little black top" which I'm making yellow? Perhaps some random yarn? We'll see ...
