Ok, so maybe I haven't been knitting so much. Actually, I've knit a little bit more of the bf sweater. I'm a third of the way through the back, and I wound more of the yarn into a hank and washed it in preparation. It will take approximately forever to finish. Sigh.
But anyway, the fact that we have ever-growing yarn stashes didn't stop K and me from ordering more yarn from WEBS!
The order:
1 pound of 2/7 lambswool/alpaca blend in charcoal
1 pound of 3/2 valley cotton in sapphire combo
1 pound of barrington in white
2 skeins of cascade lana d'oro in lichen
3 skeins of brown sheep cotton fleece in sunburst
3 skeins of cascade fixation in fuschia, turquoise, and lime green.
I'm going to use the 2/7 lambswool/alpaca blend to finish the bf sweater someday. And I'm going to dye the barrington and some of the white wool yarn we already have, double strand them together, and knit myself a coat in time for the fall hopefully.
The other yarns are K's. I see socks in her future.
We are also going to make a Smiley's Yarn purchase. I want some of the Cervinia Siena in banana swirl to make a sweater. K's interested in the Cervinia Calzetteria in Florence for socks. I might also be interested in the Plymouth Encore DK in Blue Rainbow Tweed for a hat and scarf set. Or maybe even gloves!!!
