this 'n' that

Thanks to Julia for adding me to her honeymoon cami photo album. She's the designer of this lovely piece. Yay! I'm glad to be included.

I have finished the knitting on my pink thank that I'm making up to look sort of Thelma-esque. I still have all of the finishing to do, but I haven't found the perfect straps yet. This is mostly for lack of trying.

C and I are probably going to make a WEBS order very soon. I'm excited. Some knitting/yarn dyeing extravaganza will probably occur in our Chicagoland base in the next few weeks. Woot!

I'm getting more and more interested in this charity knitting thing, so if anyone has any tips/particular charities/etc they would like to tell me about, I would love to hear from you.

Not to stereotype, but if you know any old ladies, tell them about your plans and they will probably have a box or bag or acrylic in their attic that they'll donate. 99% of my charity's yarn donations have come from older people who can't do the work anymore. Here's the website http://www.mindspring.com/~skiddoo . The site sucks, but it may give you ideas. And ONE DAY when I move to Chicago I'll start a chapter there. Unless you want a franchise!?

Actually, I'm in San Francisco, it's C that's in Chicago. We're very confusing, the two of us. I also plan on checking out a lot of thrift stores for cheap yarn. I'd be interested in talking franchise of your charity though ...
