Ok, so there are many many yarn ends that should be taken care of, but I'm partial to just sticking them inside the hat. :-)
It's fugly, but I love it. The shaping is interesting. It started off as a scarf, but then I realized I didn't have enough yarn, so it got truncated. Then I knit the side panels (using short rows!) and crocheted it all together (that's the green side striping).
Oooh, and you get to see my new pair of glasses. But not my new haircut. Awww.
