Ok, I've been gone for a while. With no good excuse really. But yesterday for a Memorial Day weekend BBQ at the B's, after everyone else left, I drank some coffee with them and brought up knitting. A has tons of knitting books! And a huge yarn stash. E quickly left the room as soon as the knitting obsessive talk came up. :-)
Anyway, A (names bolded with single letters to preserve anonymity) ended up giving me some yarn and lending me some needles, so I could feed the addiction again, and I've begun a hat. It'll be very cute.
And I found out that A is sometimes recognized as being the girl who was knitting a bikini on an episode of Wild Chicago! where they filmed the Stitch 'n Bitch. I should try going to that sometime.
