plans?

I'm still trying to decide what exactly to do next. How strange ... why do I not have 6 projects on the needles at all times? Maybe I'm not a true knitter!

Anyway, what I'm thinking I might do is actually knit up the shapely tank so that I can learn to use short rows. For help, I will use the instructions that are in a back issue of knitty. I will maybe use that valley cotton I keep talking about in the berry color.

Then, when I know how short rows work, I will go ahead and design my own tank.

Or maybe I should just knit the bottom of the shapely tank to see how short rows work and then figure out how to add them in to my own design? What are people's thoughts?

I'm still coveting the Thelma from Rowan Denim People -- even hours after first seeing it. But I'm still concerned that someone with my body shape (i.e. ME) might not look so great in it. I'd like to think that it would be great, but I'm still not so sure. It would look fabulous on C, however, so maybe I should just leave her to her devices.

I also may be silly and make some of those java jacket-type things from magknits. But I sort of know that I wouldn't ever have them with me when I actually went to buy coffee ... but they seem like cute little stash depleters. Maybe I should make them and give them to friends that I know buy a lot more cups of coffee than I do? That's an idea.

Hmmm ... what else? Any other ideas?

Have you seen this add on for the shapely tank? I love it!!! I think I could figure out a similar sleeve pattern to add on and maybe even a hood. That would be fabulous in the dyed wool.

Yeah, I don't like the color patterns, but I like the idea. I still like tanks better, but you go for it!
