A list of current projects/projects that are current only in my head:
1) Wrist warmers in the yarn I dyed for the show our band is playing on April 8th. Now I'm worried I might not have enough yarn. Should a little over 2 oz. be enough for wrist warmers? I might have to change the plan to just wristbands. Maybe even the ones from stitch-n-bitch with the star. I could make the other say "rock" instead of "geek" like it does in the book. Currently (I'll put up a picture at some point), I have it ribbed in 2x2 with mock cables on every other knit rib. Here's a fuzzy pic of the swatch I did, so you can sort of see the color variation I've got going on.
2) Unidentified project in multi-colored cotton from peaches and cream. Mostly now I just need to take a picture of it to show c what I mean about ribbing in multi-colored. I just don't like how it looks. So that's sure to be frogged, but some days I just need to knit for the sake of knitting.
3) The bench seat project (sewing, not knitting).
4) Getting everything prepared for the big knit/dye fest in a couple of weeks. Got the samples from R & M yarns yesterday. Need to a) order yarn and b) dye and c) find a big vat. Possibly at a restaurant supply store? d) Will ask some friends about that. Also need to e) check the prices/selection of kool-aid and the like at various stores around. These clearly will not necessarily go in that order.
5) Get started on that shawl! Brother's wedding is coming up in less than 2 months. I want to have a fabulous shawl by then for my fabulous dress. Must be sure to still fit in dress by then, too.
