I'm in Illinois, and the weather here is PERFECT. What's even more fun? I stopped by Chix With Stix in Forest Park yesterday and had a blast. They carry the full line of Cookie A patterns and are hosting a trunk show this week, so if you're in the area please stop on by! Here are some legs and socks being set up:
Renee and Kelly go at it with the legs (heeheehee!):
And I couldn't resist taking a picture of the shop dog now could I? Awwww.
I've also updated the retailer list on my website as well as posted Errata and more news.
will we get updated versions of the PDF file if we bought them through your website?

I finally started the Twisted Flower sock pattern! The only other things I was knitting were miles of endless boring stockinette (or ribbing).
Posted by: shadkitty at May 4, 2007 9:01 AMwhen are you here and how long will you be at the shop? i'd love to come visit you!! :)
Posted by: lynette at May 4, 2007 9:02 AMCookie... we had a WONDERFUL time meeting you yesterday! Thanks SO much for allowing the Chix to host your trunk show. I KNOW you'll have a blast at Open Knit on Wednesday night! It's only, like 64% "appropriate". hee hee!
Howie loves you because your name is COOKIE.
If you want to see my pics from yesterday, they are in my little "blog" thread at knittinghelp.com:

Isn't Chix great? I go everytime I visit Miss Kelly and Howie. Have fun in Chicago!

I have just started knitting and I am intrigued with knitted socks. I would like to ask a question to anyone that would like to answer: Are knitted socks "special occasion" socks or are they worn everyday? Can you knit summer socks? Do they all need to be handwashed? Do you get lots of wear out of them and what happens when you get a hole??
Just interested... Blogs like yours are really getting me wanting to have a go at some socks!
