All the yarn in the yarn room gasped in shock yesterday. They had already spied me crocheting earlier in the week. What now? The sewing machine was coming out?! "Has she given up knitting?" "Is she forsaking us?" "That bitch!" Those yarn balls are all squished together and who knows what sorts of rumors were spreading around yesterday.
But it's true, the sewing machine made an appearance yesterday. I was thoroughly sucked into this project:
Wait, what's that inside?
That's right, I still love my knitting and am caring tenderly for my wonderful needles. Oh darling dpns, I don't ever want to lose you again. I want you all to sleep all snug at night knowing that you are loved.
And hey, if I had to take a walk on the wild sewing side, so be it. This is enough piecing to last me through summer:
Someday, I'll get to organizing those circulars and straights. I knew that fabric stash was good for something!
I still can't find my bag full of dpns. It is driving me batty as this is the third week or so that I've been keeping an eye out for them.
Love your needle case!
