Didn't have much time to post, and I still don't. If you've emailed me, and I haven't responded, it has probably gotten lost in a flurry of last minute emails I'm sending and receiving. Email me again in two weeks!
I'll be gone for two weeks for weddingnumberthree. And yes, that's *my* wedding number three. To the same person aka Schmoopie. We have to get married a lot to show that we really really care about each other. Well, okay, I'll sort out the confusion one more time.
Weddingnumberone - Chicago, 2004. Legal stuff, so we wouldn't have to deal with it in Canada. And because it resulted in a massive windfall from the IRS that paid for weddingnumbertwo.
Weddingnumbertwo - Toronto, 2005. With my parents, his parents, and close friends. With actual bridesmaids and handknitted stoles and stuff.
Weddingnumberthree - Somewhere in Asia, 2006. With my parents, his mom, some relatives, and a few friends who are actually willing to fly somewhereinasia to see us wed for a third time. This ceremony will also be known as my mom's special perfect day.
Funny how we haven't gotten married in the state we actually live. Maybe next year. Ok, folks, have fun knitting without me. I'm looking forward to 20 hours of plane/airport knitting ahead of me. I hope K recovers fully from her knitting accident and is back on good terms with those size 7 dpns.
And a few more things:
1. Dye-O-Rama is going to be awesome. I'm going to try to organize a local dye day for anyone interested. I'm not sure my place is big enough, but we'll see when I get back and finish unpacking.
2. The Hedera pattern has some corrections that are available on the Knitty page.
3. Moving SUCKS. So does tax day.
You are my idol! I only had one wedding ... civilian one, got the license today and then ceremony tomorrow that sort of thing ... and Husband and I already felt exhausted! Most probably mentally ... we didn't even have a banquet or anything like that! And you are telling me you have 3 weddings! Holy cow!
Enjoy your in-flight knitting!
Since you also have skinny feet...is the Hedera too wide for you or do you knit at a smaller gauge for yourself?
What is your advice for skinny feet people for most sock pattern?s

Congrats and have fun!
We had 2 weddings too! One here for my friends and family and one in Oregon where his family was. It was pretty strange we had them a few months apart and had a honeymoon in between! Have a great trip.
Oh, and the Harlot is knitting a pomatomus sock!
