Olympic Update - Kristi

Just a short post today, after all of our Stitches mania for the past few days ...

As I start to get worried about whether or not I will actually finish my Olympic knitting on time, I am pleased with the little things:

I have the thumb on the proper side for my second glove. How embarrassing would that be? I'd be trucking along, thinking I might finish, and then -- *boom* -- blindsided by making two right-handed gloves.

Is it bad that I keep looking at it to make sure? Now that I've posted about it, maybe I can let go and believe in it, and just keep on knitting.

I'll admit that at this point I think the knitting will be fine, it's the finishing process that worries me!

They're looking good! What's the finishing (besides weaving in some ends)?

Looking good, looking good. And can I say I really like that teal color you've used for the thumbhole? I mean, I know it's not going to be there later, but I like it anyway.

I made that mistake where I forgot to reverse shaping when making a second front piece. Luckily, about 3 rows into it, I realized. Doh! Your gloves look great, fancy and cozy.
