Mostly because I got distracted by looking at Olympus Fashion Week pictures for the Project Runway contestants. You can get the links from Blogging Project Runway. (My favorite blog!) After looking them over for a while, I actually like Daniel's and Kara's the best. Daniel's seemed boring at first, but there are some very fine details, and the construction looks amazing and well fitted. I love Kara's use of color and knitted accessories:
I don't like Chloe's collection, partially because of fabric choice (too shiny!), partially because of the poofy things (even though I normally like poofy. a lot.), and partially because her colletion seems the least cohesive to me. Santino--as much as I find him annoying, I had really high expectations for his collection. I am disappointed. The dresses look ill-fitting. Where's the crazy embellishment?! The collection looks far too toned down. Even his crazy leather top isn't calling to me, and that's something I would normally love. I blame the skirt. Sigh.
Oh yeah, here's my yarn! I guess I should print out the pattern in the meantime.
I agree with your opinion of Chloe's. I love that show!

It's interesting that many of the comments on the TWOP (television without pity) forums: 1) like Kara's the least, 2) specifically because of the knitted garments because, 3) they thought the yarn looked cheap and poorly made. I thought that was pretty strange. I thought the yarn looked exquisite. Is it yarn that only a knitter would love?
