AKA "How I managed to restrain myself at Stitches".
First, I knew there were knitterly things waiting for me when I got home. There were three magazines: Vogue Knitting (love it), Interweave Knits (totally disappointed except for the cover sweater), and Cast On (hrm). A box of yarn from Webs containing Valeria Di Roma Angora, Berroco Pleasure, Alchemy Synchronicity (AWESOME!), and Karabella Majestic. And the best package was from Gene in Eugene, OR:
A bunch of lace patterns! There were more than in the photograph because the super cool German patterns didn't photograph well. I now have the pattern for Adelaide and other great designs!!!
Onto the yarn. Ok, so I'm a bit of a yarn whore. At some point I decided that instead of flaunting my whoredome, I wouldn't post pictures of yarn as often as I bought it because that would be absurd. Well, here's a portion of the yarn I've bought this year, some of which is earmarked for specific projects:
1. Valeria di Roma Angora from my re-sent Webs package and the pattern I want to make from Vogue Knitting:
2. Lorna's Laces Lion and Lamb which I ordered from Bo Peep's Wool Shop during their big sale. I might use this to make Annie Modesitt's Corset Top.
3. More Manos than I can shake a stick at. I got this from KnitPicks when they were getting rid of all their non-house brand yarns. The colorway is Bramble, and I love it even though it's variegated. I'm still looking for the perfect pattern for this yarn.
4. Aruacania Nature Cotton to make a top down raglan T. I bought this from LoopYarn when it was on sale and there was a KR coupon.
5. Elsebeth Lavold Silky Wool that I want to use to make the Walk in the Woods pattern I posted about last time.
6. I totally want to make Brocade with this, but maybe that's crazy talk.
At this point, the number of choices in my stash is overwhelming. I also have yarn for Rapunzel and the embroidered jacket. Too many potential projects, too little time! Next time I'll post some pictures of actual knitting. I started a project in Chicago that is almost done, and then it will be time to finish the Delphine wannabe sweater.
That Silky Wool looks like the same color as the one I destashed to Kristi. Kristi's right, you do have a heck of a lot of yarn.
So I measured your sweater last night and made some notes from my own measurements and I think I have a plan. I guess I better order the yarn!

2. I agree on the Interweave. I looked at it last night in B&N and the only thing I wanted to make in there was the skirt.
3. Why am I numbering all my comments now?
Oh. my. god. I'm drooling at all that yumminess. Wow. Just a bit of envy happening here. :)

And try not to make too much of a mess on the yarn when you're dying, because I've heard it's all willed to me :)
